Finished Thing 24

I have now complete Thing 24, I think! I went back and changed the Avatar and have been playing with the look of my blog. This is kind of fun, but can be very time consuming, so I have to really watch the clock or I can spend too much time at it. I'm anxious to try the next "Thing" now.

Still working on No. 24, Slowly!

I'm curious about how many of you doing the More THings on a Stick are using dial up internet service? Is it possible to complete the activities without a high speed conection? I'm finding it very frustrating to use the dial up connection here at home, as I spend more time waiting for things to load, than actually doing something. I would really like to at least try some of the things, but it is taking forever, just to do No. 24. I know I can go to work early and do some there on the high speed connection, but I'd really rather do it here at home in my "free" time. What sort of experiences have the rest of you had with this?

Trying Things on a Stick Again

Well, I found my way here again. I started the 23 things last year, but was only able to do a few. I was working with an elderly computer and a dial up connection at home, which really made things slow or impossible. I have a slightly newer computer now, but still the dial up. I m hoping I will be able to find some time before work when I can use the library computers. I really would like to know more about all this techy stuff, although a lot of it is not probably things I will use much myself. But I need to know what it is so I can help patrons in the library, and understand what my kids are talking about. So wish me luck and we will see if I can get it figured out this time!
